About High speed camera Fastec Imaging HiSpec 2

Compact and lightweight, you can take it anywhere! With its 1.3 megapixel (10 bits) CMOS sensor and global electronic shutter, the HISPEC 2 high speed camera provides excellent image quality. At 1280 × 1024 pixel resolution, it can provide a frame rate of up to 500 frames per second, and up to 112 000 fps at low resolution.

In terms of functionality, like the other Hispec high speed cameras, it uses ImageBLITZ®, enabling automatic rapid image triggering. It also has a multi-sequence recording mode, enabling multiple sequences to be recorded, as the memory is divided into 2, 4, 8 or 16 separate recordings. It is also supplied with a battery that enables up to 24 hours' worth of recorded images, and an internal SD card for image transfer.

Its user-friendly PC software with GiGE vision interface, enables the high speed camera to be controlled from your computer, through the Ethernet port. Several cameras can be synchronised from a main camera or an external module.

As an option, you can add a further 16 GB of memory to the video camera, as well as a guaranteed H-Gi configuration up to 100G. It's an ideal combination: robust yet compact. This means you can set it up in the most confined spaces: in automobile vehicles for accident simulations, for military tests and other challenging environments. It can also be set up with IRIG-B range synchronisation.

  • Intuitive PC software with GiGE vision interface
  • ImageBLITZ image trigger
  • Multi-Sequence recordings
  • Phase-lock multi-camera synchronisation
  • CMOS sensor with global electronic shutter
