About Fastec Imaging HiSpec 2 high-speed camera

Compact and lightweight, you can take it anywhere! With its 1.3 megapixel (10 bits) CMOS sensor and global electronic shutter, the HISPEC 2 high speed camera provides excellent image quality. At 1280 × 1024 pixel resolution, it can provide a frame rate of up to 500 frames per second, and up to 112 000 fps at low resolution.

In terms of functionality, like the other Hispec high-speed cameras, it uses ImageBLITZ®, enabling automatic rapid image triggering. It also has a multi-sequence recording mode, enabling multiple sequences to be recorded, as the memory is divided into 2, 4, 8 or 16 separate recordings. It is also supplied with a battery that enables up to 24 hours' worth of recorded images, and an internal SD card for image transfer.

Its user-friendly PC software with GiGE vision interface, enables the high speed camera to be controlled from your computer, through the Ethernet port. Several cameras can be synchronised from a main camera or an external module.

As an option, you can add a further 16 GB of memory to the video camera, as well as a guaranteed H-Gi configuration up to 100G. It's an ideal combination: robust yet compact. This means you can set it up in the most confined spaces: in automobile vehicles for accident simulations, for military tests and other challenging environments. It can also be set up with IRIG-B range synchronisation.

  • Intuitive PC software with GiGE vision interface
  • ImageBLITZ image trigger
  • Multi-Sequence recordings
  • Phase-lock multi-camera synchronisation
  • CMOS sensor with global electronic shutter
